This project is a pastel still life, it is one of my favorites because of the vivid colors and realistic feel. This picture took a total of three days because we started off with a regular can and then over the course of the few days we smashed the cans. It was an interesting experience since I was able to see all of the different values that a can, can show in its different states. As you can see the last can is so much different than the first can. There are casts shadows in this picture too, showing the light source coming from the top left of the paper.
